An epic journey of a young man fighting for survival along
with a fearsome Bengal tiger.
Pi Patel (Suraj Sharma), an Indian boy is son of a zoo keeper in
Pondicherry.
Due to political issues in India, the family decides to move
to Canada carrying some of the animals to sell them. But unfortunately after a
few days, the ship meets a terrible storm. Pi somehow strives to survive along
with other animals, hyena, zebra and orangutan and a Bengal tiger, Richard
Parker. Eventually, the hyena kills Zebra along with orangutan to eat
them, but could not manage to survive for long time. The tiger kills the hyena.
And now Richard and Pi are left on the lifeboat. How the
young boy saves himself from the tiger is shown in the movie.
For those who haven’t read the novel, the movie is full of
mystery.
