romantic comedy takes you to heartland of Punjab. The Bollywood flick is
a remake of Telugu film, Maryada
Ramanna,
which was also a remake of American silent movie Our
Hospitality.
Rajveer
Singh ( Ajay Devgan), who is happy-go-lucky and peace loving Sardar,
returns to his village from London to claim his ancestral land.He
meets Jiya (Sonakshi Sinha) and falls in love with her without
knowing about her family who has a long-standing feud with his
family.
Rajveer approaches Sanjay Dutt, a feudal lord and also the
head of Jiya's
family to sell his 5-acre property. He then gets trapped in his house
as they came to know that he is the son of the man who killed
Sanjay Dutt's brother.
Various
incidents take place in the house because of which he faces the unexpected.
The movie follows how he escapes from this death trap.
