A famous poet finds a young girl nearby lake and discovers that she is
possessed by an evil spirit. He then decides to protect her.
This supernatural thriller movie is written by Vikram Bhatt.
The movie
revolves around a famous single poet Jaidev Verma (Aftab Shivdasani),
who is pining over his sweetheart's death. He is staying with his
sister Karuna (Vidya Malvade) who is providing him full support until he
meets Smruti (Tia Bajpai). He finds Smruti at a nearby lake in
mysterious circumstances and brings her home to take good care.
As Smruti enters home, Karuna senses something wrong with her.
Karuna
is not happy about her stay in the house but is helpless in front of
her brother's persistence.
Meanwhile, Jaydev finds out that Smruti has lost her memory and does
not remember anything apart from his poems. He
then decides to take her to a big hospital in Shimla. On their way,
he decides to take rest in a guest house. Here she gets possessed
by an evil spirit (Sagar Saikia) and haunting sounds start to
emanate. Jaydev decides to save her and provide full protection.
