Bhoot Returns - Movie Review

Bhoot Returns - Bollywood Movie
Bhoot Returns
Release Date : 12  October, 2012
Starring : J.D. Chakravarthi, Manisha Koirala
Director : Ram Gopal Varma
Genre : Horror
Duration : 1 hr, 25 min
IMDB Rating : 3.5/10

The movie is about the abnormal activies which occur in a house, making it difficult for the family to stay or leave.

Directed by Ram Gopal Verma, the movie is a sequel of movie Bhoot which was released in 2003. The movie has good sound effects with 3D.
To make sure the horror scenes work, the 3D and audio effects by Sandeep Chowta are created at its best.
Tarun, an architect, moves to a new house with wife Namrata (Manisha Koirala), his sister, daughter and son. Various unnatural activies take place in the house like, furniture rearranging, moving of swing etc. which gives the family the jitters. Athough Tarun's wife is suspicious from the beginning, but Tarun is too busy with his work to notice. Their daughter finds a doll in the house, a gift from Shabbu, who is her imaginary friend. They decide to take her to a psychiatrist to get rid of her unknown friend. The domestic help tries to warn them about external force in the house who is doind all these scary activies. Initially, Tarun refuses to believe him but later he realises when he sees CCTV camera footages. It comes out that Shabbu, does exist in the house. How the family survives is shown in the movie.
Bhoot was a better movie as compared to Bhoot Returns. The movie is a failed attempt by out of form RGV and is not up to the mark.
